The Herberg is right in the centre of Schoorl and Het Landhuis is just outside the centre.  Both locations are part of Schoorl, which is a beautiful traditional Dutch village that is under an hour from Amsterdam by train; and being on The Coast, it boasts a wonderful long sandy beach with many dunes and open wooded areas – superb for hiking, gentle walking, cycling and for those who love wide open spaces: Schoorl is on high ground so the views are stunning.

School Village has all the facilities that one would require for a pleasant and comfortable stay – including a supermarket, mini markets, gift shops, additional restaurants & coffee houses and lots of nearby places to visit (very good taxi and bus service available – bus recommended as all the houses in and around Schoorl are both historic and pretty and in the attractive Dutch style).
